Blake Street Hotel

In Denver’s storied LoDo neighborhood, a new hotel is underway on a Blake Street infill site between 16th and 17th streets. Situated between two historic structures, this eight-story hotel provides a unique opportunity to work with architectural elements like skylights and light wells in both guest spaces and common areas, including a ground-floor lobby and bar.

In addition to exterior light wells that bring in natural light despite the hotel’s position between existing buildings, an interior light well brings daylight into central guest rooms. LS Group is working with this wash of sunlight and balancing finishes like black gunmetal, warm dark wood and copper with inspired task and ambiance lighting that complements the urban setting. Surprise elements are woven through the hotel, creating a visual experience that lends itself to memorable moments for guests.
